We think food should be simple, delicious, and local whenever possible. We also believe good wine should be shared with good friends.

Who are we?
Sean is a former winemaker who had the good fortune to eat at Alice Waters’ Chez Panisse in Berkely all too often — typically after a day spent making wine. At Chez Panisse, he sat at the bar soaking up the passion and simplicity of the place. When he moved here to Chicago, he brought a bit of the place with him.
Dan spent years as sommelier and restaurant manager at Chicago’s Michelin-rated Ria restaurant at the Waldorf Elysian. His love for wine and food makes him an interesting, sought-after dining companion.
